What I've Been Into...
From webtoons to dramas
The the fourth edit for my second book is done and one sentence written for book three. When I’m writing or taking breaks I find myself falling back in love with webtoons and dramas.
So here are some of my recommendations!
Webtoons (it’s like Wattpad but for comics):
Love 4 A Walk: Pam is perky and a hopeless romantic, and Tyler is a quiet and unbothered guy. What do they have in common you ask? Their love 4 dogs.
Castle Swimmer: A story of two young sea creatures. One believed to be a guiding light for his people, a Beacon. The other is a teenage prince for who’s destiny is to KILL the Beacon so that HIS own people might thrive. When both reject the course set for them, it leads to adventure and romance.
The Mafia Nanny: Being an Elite Nanny is simple: protect the charge, obey the principle, and don’t get emotionally attached. When Davina’s first client is a dangerously compelling Venetian underboss who’s determined to get under her skin. What he wants from her, she can’t imagine. Gabriel Angelini drags her back into the glittering world of organized crime she thought she’d left behind. She might get answers about her past if she digs deep enough, but can she protect Mikey from his father’s ambitions and keep her heart from getting tangled up in their treacherous web?
Love Cycle: Alicia's love life is perfect in her fantasy journal, but in reality she's desperate to get her crush's attention in school. When her journal leads her to a popular upperclassman, she gains an unexpected wingman—who only has more strings to pull as feelings start to unravel in everyone around them. After all, is love ever as simple as fairytales make it seem?
Morgana & Oz: What happens when a struggling witch meets an angsty vampire? Either love or war. Morgana belongs to a long line of witches, and Oz to the rival vampire clan. After a chance encounter… and maybe a few stray spells… these two need to find a way to work together, or risk all-out war between coven and clan.
K-Dramas:
My Demon: Heiress Do Do Hee is an adversary to many, and Jung Koo Won is a powerful entity; when Jung Koo Won loses his powers, he must collaborate with Do Do Hee to regain them, and sparks fly between them as they embark on their journey. There’s drama, mystery, romance and comedy! (Netflix)
Marry My Husband: When Jiwon, a 37-year-old cancer patient, walks in on her husband and best friend, she realizes her whole life has been a lie. What’s worse, she dies a tragic death at the hands of her husband. Would things have been different if she had made different choices? Fortunately for Jiwon, she is given the chance to rewrite her fate when she is reincarnated as her younger self. This time, she vows to live a happy life. But first comes revenge. Her plan? To marry off her now former best friend to her lying, cheating husband. THE DRAMA! (Amazon Prime)
Welcome To Samdal-Ri: After suffering a fall from grace, a photographer returns to her hometown and bumps into her childhood friend — rekindling an unfinished romance. Second chance romance, small town with an amazing group of friends. Prepare tissues. Also the side stories are great! (Netflix)
My Man Is Cupid: A love fairy inadvertently falls in love with a woman whose romantic partners always have a near-death experience. If you like past lives and the red string theory watch this! (Amazon Prime)
These are what have been occupying my mind other than my stories! You laugh, you cry, your jaw drops and you scream. It’s great. Have you seen any of them? Do you want to?
On a side note I keep trying to work on book 3 for Lavender Falls and I get frustrated because my brain tells me I can’t start until I have the title figured out. But I can’t seem to pick one. Some people say write and it’ll come to you and my brain says, “Fuck that. Figure it out now.” So far I have three options but nothing has stuck. I wonder if I should just put a bunch of words in a hat and then pull something out.
Until next time!
